Is it true the rumor about the zendikar priceless treasure?
I just spent the last half hour looking at posts all over the place that seem to confirm this..
It seems that 90 cards have been included and take the place of tokens in select packs. the ratio is 1 card per 20 boxes. or 1 card per 720 packs.
Sinkhole, Bayou, Lich, Ancestral Recall, Candlelabra of Tawnos have been confirmed so far.

In every pack you open there is a card that tell something about the game or is a token. They have put in old cards from the never be reprinted list randomly in packs in the place of this trash card/token. The cards range in price from $50 - $2000.

Mox Jet
Mox Ruby
Mox Pearl
Mox Sapphire
Mox Emerald
Mox Diamond
Lion's Eye Diamond
Ancestral Recall
Lich
Bayou
Sinkhole
There are 90 different cards in all but it's unknown how many total they have put out there.

What sets are these from? Alpha? Beta? Unlimited?
So you're saying I could pull a black lotus from a Zendikar booster?
Do these come in place of a rare?

That is correct. The cards will be original cards.
So yes you have the chance of pulling an original Beta Mox or Beta Ancestral Recall etc

Definetly a smart Marketing move on Wizards part. They will have many people buying a lot more Zendikar boosters then what they would have usually bought, hoping to pull a power 9.
And no other promo that they put in Zendikar packs could beat the chance of pulling a P9. Great promotion.
People are going to go broke buying hundreds of zendikar boosters trying to make a full P9 set :D

I think Zendikar was going to be sell very good even before the promotion, so now with this we might see some stores especailly with small stock maybe getting sold out.

Why didnt they announce it till now? Well am guessing they want to create a big spike of hype near-release. If they announced it like 6 months ago, then there would be lots of hype and it would have worn out a bit till release.
But now it is suddenly starting to "leak" ;) and has everyone talkng and hype will be at its max the day of release = more sales for Wizards
We're going to see lots more people buying full cases of Zendikar now :eek:
